Lookouts on the Air

The Towers On The Air (TOTA) program connects amateur radio activity with the discovery of lookout towers, observation decks, and masts.

What is the "Czech Towers" program?

A points-based reward system for Activators (operating from or near towers) and Chasers (working them). Each station has a unique reference code – e.g., OKR-0133 (Czech towers). You will hear us announce it on the air and record it in your log (QSO). Categories include HF and VHF/UHF, various modes, and several award levels.

Project Principles:

🔭 Exploring the beauty of towers – TOTA encourages the discovery of European observation points, from famous landmarks to forgotten towers.
📡 Supporting amateur radio activity – elevated locations offer excellent radio conditions for both HF and VHF/UHF.
👨‍👩‍👧 Connecting people, technology, and trips – TOTA brings together families, hiking, and outdoor radio.

Certificates are issued in PDF format for download.

Logs and rules can be found at Towers On The Air (TOTA).
